Does Abraxas Electric give back in any way?

10% of our net profits go to programs that help feed people.  Currently, most of this money goes to Roadrunner Food Bank.

We also have an established, and highly competitive, internal “service” program.  The big goal is to serve 1,000,000 people in a positive way over the next three years.  The system to achieve this goal is based on a monthly competition between employees which nets a $100 bonus each month to the person that has served the most people in the name of Abraxas Electric.

What does the process of working with Abraxas Electric look like?

Upon receiving a request for proposal we will respond within 24 hours

A walk through with an estimator will be scheduled…

-typically within 48 hours for upgrades (residential and commercial)

-technicians will be dispatched immediately with authorization to negotiate a price for emergency work, it will normally cost about $75 per hour plus materials and taxes for most repairs

-for bid work according to prints we like to have a minimum of 4 days lead time before bid date

We will then send you an itemized bid on company letterhead with our insurance and any other necessary documentation.  All of our bids are accompanied with a breakdown of how we came to the cost determination, as are any change orders. 

Upon agreeing to terms and scope of work we will do everything in our power to complete the work within the schedule and budget agreed to.  We understand that meeting deadlines is quantitatively and qualitatively of utmost importance!  Above all things, our goal is make the experience with Abraxas Electric a trustworthy and reliable one.

Upon completion of the scope our technicians will typically ask for a completion letter to be signed.  We don’t consider the job finished unless the customer is more than satisfied that the job is complete.

Typically, we will bill or ask for progress payments to be made on a net 30 basis.  We will often offer a .5% discount for early payments made within 15 days of the billing date.  You will be sent an invoice with a brief survey attached to let us know how we did and how we can improve in the future.

Can Abraxas Electric offer financing?

Yes, this is typically used for residential projects over $1000.  Our standard terms are 1.5% per month on outstanding balances.  Terms can last up to 12 months.

 
Does Abraxas Electric accept credit cards?

Yes, there will be an additional fee of 2.5% to swipe the card and 3.5% to enter the card number manually.

 
Does Abraxas Electric offer a warranty or stand behind their craftsmanship?

We offer the standard 1 year warranty on craftsmanship.  More importantly, we have been in business for 8 years with the same ownership.  Most of our top tier technicians have been with the company for many years.  Longevity and sustainability is the goal.  Standing behind our service and being responsive to our customer’s satisfaction demands is where we have found success.

 
Can Abraxas Electric provide financials or a three year plan? 

Absolutely!  It is our intention to be as transparent as possible.  Any of our employees or customers, at the discretion of management, are welcome to see how the business is doing in achieving our goals.  Just be careful what you ask for.  Management, in particular, would love to spend lots of time talking about our goals and projections for the future with you!  How long do you have and are you buying lunch?

We are a New Mexico based company.  The qualifying party for Abraxas Electric also holds a Washington State electrical administrators license and is working on getting qualified in Colorado.  Through reciprocal relationships and strategic partnerships we are also able to work in the following states… Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona, Nevada, and Florida.
